The Boney Pony Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation is a non-profit organization. We receive no government funding and rely soley on
donations and adoption fees. The average cost to care for a horse for one month is $300. This pays for grain, hay, hoof trims and
vet bills for a healthy horse. A sick or elderly animal may cost much more! All of our expenses are covered by individuals and
businesses that love animals and want to help make a difference. No donation is too small. Even $5.00 will by a bale of hay!

Some horses will remain at the Boney Pony permanently. They may have chronic illnesses or other needs that make them poor candidates
for adoption, but they will always have a home here. This is Guppy, a four year old paint mare. She arrived very ill in January,
which is when the photo on the left was taken. It has taken months to help her along, and she is receiving some training now
that she's healthier. The photo on the right is from May, and it shows how far she's come.
Your donations allow horses like her to continue to receive the care and training they need.
